This video documents a site-specific installation—a miniature space where objects come together to tell a story. I filmed the objects interacting from various angles, allowing the narrative to take shape through a process of exploration and experimentation rather than a pre-written script.
The story is a deeply personal one, inspired by the death of my childhood dog in Japan. While I was in Montreal, he passed away from old age, having suffered in his last years from a neurological disease that caused him to circle erratically. This work is my way of visually honouring his life. (2025)
